“ We were in between wine tastings and wanted to get something yummy in downtown Paso. We found this place on Yelp and it was delicious! Service was great and all the appetizers that we ordered were delicious. The food came out super fast which was great because our kids were super hungry. They also make a delicious Old Fashioned. The restaurant is spacious and family friendly. They have an outdoor patio too. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their drinks and food. ”
“ This was our final lunch in Paso Robles on our most recent trip this past weekend. 2 different people recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Plenty of options for sliders as well as salads and mac and cheese. I had the Steak Benedict, Cubano along with the Chicken Pesto and all 3 were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the restaurant decor was beautiful. Our server was great as well. Thank you for the delightful lunch! ”
“ Do you ever just want a couple bites of this and a couples bites of that? This is the restaurant to come to! We started out with sweet potato fries, umm, some of my favorite. They had the perfect crisp texture. We ordered the quadruple with 4 choices and went with bacon and Gouda Mac and cheese, a southwest salad, and 2 sliders. One of the sliders was the chicken vacation mode. Ummm, absolute favorite item on the menu. The vaquero burger was the other slider we chose. Everything was spot on and I look forward to coming back to try something new. ”
“ I went with a big party and had a great time! The food was delicious - honestly, if you're getting apps, I would recommend two sliders only. We were told three and almost everyone took their third one to go. The service was quick and our waitress was very friendly. All in all, a great experience! ”
“ I like the custom combination of anything in the menu. Had the cheeseburger in paradise and steak fries and they were smoky good and flavorful! Our server Sammy was super nice and attentive and friendly . The place had a nice set up inside with a bar and TVs to watch sports in. ”
“ Great lunch stop right up the road from the SLO airport! Their menu is crafted such that you pick a "duo" up to a "quad" of items, such as burger, salad, side etc...you can also just get individual items. I had the Caesar salad + veggie patty slider duo and really enjoyed them. The menu is quite varied with a lot of selections. Service was good and there's a nice outdoor patio although a little loud from the traffic. ”
“ Delightful meal! This place busy on a Thursday night but we were able to walk in and get a two top at the bar. The menu is huge! There are so many options so it's awesome that you can do a duo, trio, etc. I went with the trio and got a salad, Brussels sprouts, and the black and black and blue burger. Also got a dirty martini that was perfect! All of the food was super fresh and had great flavor. Come only if you are hungry! I left so stuffed. Service was great and the bussers were very on top of it. Would definitely come back! I wouldn't say this is a romantic date night spot, but more of a group dinner spot. I would skip the Brussels next time. My friend ordered one of the Mac and cheeses and I was having major fomo. ”
“ Searching for a good place to satisfy a party of five which included my two kids (9 & 12), my wife, and my mom on the Saturday night before Christmas, was no easy task. Arriving with no reservations around 5pm, other places were booked but we managed to get a quote of 45min to wait for a table. So glad we ended up here at TASTE!! The restaurant interior is smaller than I expected, but well arranged. They have a great wine and beer list, for those who partake. We started with the Grilled Brie appetizer, which was plentiful and tasty, through and through. It easily lasted our table all the way until our dinner came out. Tons of creamy brie cheese, with accoutrements like apple, roasted garlic, dates, fig jam, honey, and baguette . Mainly, I really love the format of the menu, whereby you choose two, three, or four items from an extensive menu comprised of varieties of sliders, mac and cheeses, Brussels sprouts, salads, and soups & sides. Literally everything sounded delicious which made it hard to choose. I went for the four-item combo to try as much as I could. Spoiler alert: I was completely stuffed by the end of my meal. Every single thing I tasted was amazing! I had two sliders, the "Vaquero Burger" and the "Swimmin' Up Stream". I also had the "Hail to the Kale" salad, and "Em's So Sweet Potato Fries." Every bite was amazing thus I was obligated to finish the whole plate. Thankfully my youngest couldn't finish her mac & cheese and I got to try it, which was on par with my own items: flavorful and fulfilling. Finally, our server was top-notch! She was on it for everything. She and the team of expeditors got everything out quickly and accurately. Also drink refills were never needed to be asked for, they offered before we reached the bottom of our glasses. Next time in Paso Robles, we'll definitely be making our way back to TASTE to work our way through more of the menu! ”
“ Ambiance: very modern and yet vintage decor and very festive for Christmas. Service: was awesome. Our Desiree was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He recommended a few good sliders. Food: don't let the pictures fool you it's bigger than it looks. I highly recommend the blue and black solder as well as the Cuban. A must if you are around the area ”
“ My wife and I dropped by Taste for lunch on Saturday while in Pasa Robles and boy did we make the right choice. The wait for a table was pretty short even though it was right during the lunch hour and I expected a longer wait. Our server was very polite and asked if we had been there before and gave us a run down of the menu concept. My wife had the groovy grains salad and really enjoyed it, it's a salad she said she won't find many places, it was very unique. The biggest critique she had was she wished the dressing had a bit more maple, she wanted it to be a touch sweeter but other than that she said the salad was very good. I had the slider trio and went with the Vacation, Chimi Chicken, and Forest burger. All 3 were fantastic. Very well cooked, the bun was slightly crispy, the chimichurri sauce was delicious and the hummus on the vacation burger was very good as well. It was a great experience and definitely somewhere we will return to if we are in the area. ”
